capturing
workflow

The Colormass scanner captures thousands of measurements on a sample to record the true physical nature of the material. The measurements it takes are used to produce texture maps that align with the Disney Principled BSDF (Bidirectional Scattering Distribution Function) model.
By using this method, the colormass scanner ensures that the materials it processes retain a lifelike appearance when rendered in 3D environments.

Scanning

is just the
first step

Scanning captures the raw beauty of real-world material, but it's only the beginning.
To deliver clean, production-ready materials, every scan needs to be processed.
This ensures seamless textures, flawless tiling, and optimized maps, making the materials
truly ready for 3D production.
